Many people ask me what photography equipment I use so I thought I would just make a note here. I really have two sets of camera gear what I use for my professional assignments, wedding etc and camera gear that I use for my own pleasure.
My Professional outfit;
2x Canon Digital SLR bodies both with battery grips
Sigma 12-24mm super wide angle zoom lens
Canon 24-70mm “L” standard zoom lens
Canon 50mm standard lens
Canon 85mm telephoto lens
Sigma 70-200mm Lon telephoto lens
2x Canon Speedlite flashguns
A selection of high speed Sandisk memory cards
I carry the whole lot in a large Lowpro photo rucksack but really its to big to carry all day inconspicuously so I will take what I want out and carry it in a satchel shoulder bag .
Nothing can take away from the image quality and usability of my digital outfit, but as those of you that have seen me at a wedding they are large cameras. Like many people when I started taking images there was no digital only film and I still love to use my film slrs. In fact one day I would love to cover a wedding with them but I know deep down I would not be able to offer as many images to my clients if I used film as I can with digital but you never know I always love a challenge!

Olympus 50mm F1.2 standerd lens (one of my favorite lens ever made!)

Olympus 85mm F2 telephoto lens
Olympus 135mm F3.5 medium telephoto lens
2 x Olympus T32 Flash guns
Olympus T10 ring flash for Macro images
I also have a full set of Cokin filters and carry a range of Fuji colour print film and Ilford black & white film. The whole lot again lives in a photo rucksack its the best way I have ever found for storing large quantities of gear but I will take out what I want in to a small shoulder bag when I’m out and about.
I have just bought a new digital compact! A Canon SX200is looks good but will let you know when I have had chance to use it in anger!
